As a long-term landlord and now as a tenant I can honestly appreciate SML from both sides. I owned 5 houses for about 10 years and hired a property manager while we were gone for almost a year. This property manager was a nightmare for me, and the properties suffered because of that company. I see first-hand where SML has procedures & policies established to protect the investment. From the tenant side of things, they have also been great. Problems with the property are quickly resolved. They have the contacts, contracts & therefore the influence to get a contractor on the problem far faster than any homeowner could.
